Job Title: Integrated Marketing Communication and Events coordinator
Department: Media, Communication and Events

Description: The IMC coordinator will work within a flexible and
innovative environment to support all Communication, Events and related
administrative tasks to deliver well organized, high quality output on behalf of varied clients in diverse industries locally, regionally and globally.

Key Tasks:

  • Conceptualizing and Executing Communications strategies and Events on behalf of a wide cross section of clients in varied sectors to include site visits and vendor Management.
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Writing and editing speeches, articles and annual reports
  • Engaging and interacting with Media entities to build relationships on behalf of the agency’s clients across varied sectors/beats in print, radio, television and online media.
  • Assist with the media monitoring efforts on behalf of all clients
  • Creating basic content to meet client needs such as: brochures, posters, newsletters, blog posts, speeches, Annual Reports, basic video and basic social media graphics
  • Related administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and successful execution of all client based events.

Key Competencies

  • Proven experience as a Public Relations/Events Specialist/Integrated Marketing Communications representative in a communication/Event/Project Management Environment
  • Ability to work remotely, manage timelines and deliver on the necessary deadlines
  • Demonstrable Social media Management capacity
  • Solid writer with samples of Content for Press and other platforms
  • Possess  good problem solving and decision making skills, be able to meet tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Independent thinker who will make decisions and demonstrate initiative in
    goal attainment
  • Client/Customer-­­focused and committed to delivering quality
    services
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to work independently
  • A First Degree in Integrated, Marketing, Communication or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area

 

Social Media coordinator

Description: The Social Media coordinator will work  primarily remotely within a flexible and innovative environment to create and maintain a strong online presence and deliver high quality output on behalf of varied clients in diverse industries locally, regionally and globally.

Key Tasks:

 

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will work  primarily remotely within a flexible and innovative environment to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and lead strategist in delivering work on behalf of varied clients in diverse industries locally, regionally and globally.

Key Tasks

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Supports team through a variety of tasks including phone calls, booking travel,
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • May be required to direct and lead the work of others.
  • Use experience and sound judgment to keep a well organized schedule around key client activities.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Keep proper records and create reports as necessary
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

Key Competencies:

  • Proven administrative assistant experience

  • Must be able to work effectively remotely with limited supervision
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work and meet established deadlines
